One day MC

Bitten by the flu bug and I was blowing my nostrils like noone's business since last night. Barely slept through the night cos' my head aches so much the whole time.

Now feeling sweaty, groggy and still a lil sneezely, I finally find myself absenting from work due to unfitness. Come thinking of it, I think I am one good employee with least absentee rate but again, so what?My head still aches.

Think..If I wasn't working or rather if I don't have to work, I would be a full time self employed blogger, narcissist and air.
Working takes away such a big part of your life that you have not been seeing and feeling the peace of an afternoon. Now that is living life blindly.
Tied with self obsessed obligations.

Now that I have a day time, I shall unveil the presents and loves I received this year (much unexpectedly though.)

Presents



This is my first present received from Yuanpin. He thought it was very me but still decided to heed my opinion before buying it.
I like it alot and indeed it is very me. I heartx big bags!


My second present came from Fyn & Benson. I kept to my words(to myself) and really only unwrapped this on the 12th itself.
When Benson said hope this gift brings me good luck, my first guess was the clover leaf thing and laughed to myself. But again..something tells me it is not that d-uh cloverleaf at the same time. It is just something not very suggestively right given how much Fyn knows me.
I am not saying that I would dismiss that clover leaf gift if given but you know what I mean?



My eyes widen with big surprise and 'OMG' poured outta my mouth when I saw this. It is just delicately beautiful and I know why Fyn chose blue. ;)

This is from Jason's aunts and I think it is from 4th aunt. It is either a solo gift or a combinaton purchase. I saw this at the Goldheart catalogue and I was jokingly thinking 'why not ask Jason to buy this for me cos' it is the only reasonably priced thing' before I blahed it of.
I never expect to receive that actually. Wow!



Am I that known for liking pink or what? I am clearly not the dolly dolly type of gals but when i saw this 2 pinkish purses, I just smile.
This is from his aunts too though I have no idea who.


I am surprised when his cousin Xiaohui passed me this too,saying it was from the ''little ones''. (Makes me the BIG one then..-_-) Now that is something very elegant and I bet with you for 10 bucks that Jason wouldnt be able to make a better choice than that.

I am always the quiet one in their gathering and I can't speak Hokkien much as I can barely understand the whole chunk. Still those presents meant to me and it makes Ling one happy girl that night.



Ain't that cute? Yin gave me this and it's a meow meow toufu! Hehe. Vonx took the chance to tell her my new nick given by Vonx herself. Toufu ling. -_-hmmm...Hahaha.


Vonx got this from HK as a souvenier for everyone. Well..not everyone got the keys though. Me & Yin were fast enough to grab there. Hehe..Sorry Irene dear. I just love that simple design.


And this Naraya coin purse was from SW who went Bangkok recently. Only pink and I grab that. Hohoho. I never had anything Naraya cos' it just feel very..gu niang and soft. And only when I open it, it feels really soft!!

Thanks SW & Vonx! Now I wonder what to get when it is finally my turn to go HK.

When Clara(my boss) told me she got me something which she thinks I would like but her husband disagree, I could only give her my usual grin.
Cos deep inside, I don't exactly think her taste would go in sync with mine. She mentioned it was something girlish(Oh oh..not me!) and all I could think of is some fancy jewel type which I would barely touched it.


I was kinda shocked when I opened to see this. Now that is something truely outta my expectation and I would like to say I actually like it.
Surprise,surprise. Now I am kinda having too many bags. Noone is complaining anyway.


This is from my colleagues. Pretty much our tradition in office.Nowadays people just give vouchers to save the hassle. I am also pretty surprise to see $95 worth of Capitaland voucher. At least it's not just Isetan anymore. Hhaha.



These are from my mum and dad. Hehe. And that is more than enough. =)

Finally it is my final present to be unveil.


Jason first passed to me this Carebear small plushie. I kept asking for a dog though. Hahaa.
Even if you asked me now if he really just give me that Carebear, would it be good enough?

It will be good enough. =)

I mentioned about the Flyer ride and this is my final gift.


I love how that part folds and forms a Love shape.

Something Puma. Jason has been giving me some Puma stuff here and there ever since he started working. He is very Puma though I really love Adidas Originals better.


Mini Wowo. Hahaha. I wish!

Just a min before the clock strikes 12.

I have been eyeing on that pretty long and it is finally brought before my eyes. I would kill anyone who I see wearing it in SG cos' it is NOT sold here.
With all the pink and the blinks, I would say I am loving it.

I know I am one lucky girl. I know I am. I am not saying to feel superior but I am saying it cos' I feel blessed.
To have you guys as my friends...My 24th birthday is something really special!
